Troy Scillian founded Wild Hare to make the world a better place through marketing. Well, at least a more fun place. We are a network of problem solvers and creatives who help brands grow by making stuff people enjoy seeing. Or hearing. Or reading. You get the idea.
Previously, Troy was VP/Executive Creative Director at Universal Orlando Resort where he led the in-house creative group, Popcorn. During his time at Universal, he and his team helped launch the Wizarding World of Harry Potter—Diagon Alley, Volcano Bay Water Theme Park, Race Through New York Starring Jimmy Fallon, the Fast and Furious—Supercharged, and Hagrid's Magical Motorbike Adventure. They also open three resort hotels, 11 restaurants and supported Universal signature events including Celebration of Harry Potter and Halloween Horror Nights.
Before that, Troy had spent his career in ad agencies. Most recently at Moroch where his primary role was leading the creative teams for McDonald’s. Along the way, he helped launch Redbox, Premium Roast Coffee, McCafe, and the McRib Farewell Tour as well as winning the National Breakfast assignment. He also oversaw the work on other agency clients including Coca-Cola, Dr Pepper, Monster.com, Mattress Giant, Rave Theaters, and Western Union.
Troy also owned his own agency, Coffee/Black Advertising, where his clients included 7-Eleven, Texas Land & Cattle Steakhouse, DFW International Airport, Foresthills Hotels & Resorts, and Uniden Electronics. He also co-created and launched Buzz Public Relations and WideEye Interactive.
